  1. Ology Brewing Co.

Ology Brewing Co. is located at 118 E. 6th Ave. and takes a more science-inspired approach to craft brews. Ology focuses on experimentation to find the best flavors, so it makes small batches of different flavors. While this means they are only around for a limited time, the menu is always adding new options to try.

Ology has a tasting room where you can stop in and try a variety of different beers. However, Ology is also in the middle of an expansion. It is adding more space so that it can separate its different departments and have more room for tastings.

  1. Deep Brewing Co.

Deep Brewing Co. has a radically different take on beer. It is the brainchild of a former commercial diver, and the atmosphere in the facility reflects that. It has a very undersea base feel to it where the brewing operations are in full view of the tasting area. This way, you can get a good look at the brewing operations while you try something new. There are 12 beers on tap, with up to eight seasonal offerings added on. These will only be available in the tasting room and for a limited time.

  1. Proof Brewing Co.

Proof Brewing Co. is one of the older brewing companies in the area and has seen a lot of success over the years. The company is expanding and will be moving into an old Coca-Cola plant that is 34,000 square feet. It is the size of a city block, which it needs to produce at scale for all of its customers.

In the tasting room, there is live music every Friday provided by local bands. There is also a restaurant called Proper on-site where you can enjoy many of the craft beers that Proof has to offer. The facility is open for special events and you can call ahead to reserve the event space or a table in the restaurant.

  1. Lake Tribe Brewing Company

Lake Tribe Brewing Company is located at 3357 Garber Dr. The brewery follows a nature theme, including making drinks with an earthy, outdoorsy taste. The tasting room is open three days per week so that you can try their new brews. Lake Tribe Brewing Company makes it easier to pair its brews with its online brewing guide. It gives you details about each option, as well as a look at why it works with the pairing option.

There are many more breweries in the area to try. You just have to know where to look. Check out as many as you can to find craft beers that are right for you. With so many seasonal options available, you’ll definitely find something for the coming fall and winter months.
