In the late 1800s this museum served as the capitol building. 4. Gulf Specimen Marine Lab

This marine lab was created as a source for research. 5. St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge

This is a beautiful refuge. It is nearly 100,00 acres, with nearly 70,000 of those areas being land. Centuries ago, when the site was occupied by Spaniards, a large lighthouse was built there, and it still stands. The St. Marks Lighthouse is an amazing historical landmark. It is open for tours and if you can make your way up to the top, you are in store for a breathtaking view. You’ll also have a great time spotting all of the migratory animals that are around the refuge.
