- Terror of Tallahassee

Terror of Tallahassee is open until the end of October and is conveniently located just a half-mile from Doak Campbell Stadium, Florida State University’s football stadium. This premier haunted house is not for guests who get scared easily. It’s known as one of the most intense and frightening haunted houses in the entire state. Tickets start at $18 for adults and $10 for children under the age of 12. It’s best to arrive early or to buy your tickets ahead of time, as Terror of Tallahassee is one of the busiest haunted houses in the area.
- Ghost Walking Tour
If a crowded haunted house is not for you, you might enjoy a different type of haunting experience, a Ghost Walking Tour. This 45-minute tour includes your own costumed walking guide who will lead you through the most haunted and scariest of Tallahassee neighborhoods. Not only will you experience the haunted side of Tallahassee, but you will also learn more about its history. The Ghost Walking Tour is a great choice for families with younger children looking to celebrate the Halloween holiday.
- Florida State University
You might be surprised to learn that Florida State University is considered one of the most haunted places in Tallahassee. Rumor is that Civil war cadets roam the halls and haunt the dorm rooms. There have been reports of power outages, messages appearing in fogged mirrors during showers, and a ghost that approaches female residents. The haunted rumors expand to FSU’s Cawthon Hall, where a former student reportedly haunts students with weird noises and randomly moving objects.
- Velda Mound Park
Velda Mound Park, a historical archeological site in northern Tallahassee, was occupied by the Fort Walton culture in late prehistoric times. The land is now a local community park, and there have been reports of Native American ghosts mingling around a fire and even a white wolf that comes out at night and makes lots of noise.
